Hen - Scotland is in a housing emergency.
Right now, political parties and candidates are out listening to voters ahead of the election. That means this is the moment our voices matter most.
Scotland’s housing is in a right state. Families are crammed into hotels, kids don’t have a bedroom of their own, and rents are going through the roof. We’ve faced a housing emergency before—and we solved it by building social homes. If we did it then, we can do it again.
If enough of us speak up, we can make one thing crystal clear: ending Scotland’s housing emergency must be politicians’ top priority.
With the Scottish election only a matter of weeks away, help us tell your local candidates to commit to building at least 15,693 new social homes every year of the next parliament [1].
Add your name today and join the Grans calling for change. Tick yes to stay in touch—we’ll keep you updated on ways you can stand with us to ensure more social homes are built in Scotland.
