We're beyond level zero across all of Scotland, so the eviction ban keeping struggling renters in their homes no longer applies. Many families are without this protection and could be at risk of losing their home as a result of the pandemic.
We’re still in the middle of a public health crisis, with many finding it hard to pay rent after losing jobs or income. It’s shocking that people are still being made homeless as a result of the pandemic.
The Scottish Government must act to protect them. We’re demanding that they:
- reinstate the eviction ban for everyone across Scotland to prevent a rise in homelessness
Together our voices will send a loud message to the Cabinet Secretary for Housing Shona Robison. We must act now to prevent a tidal wave of evictions.
